L’Cha Dodi means, ”Welcome my Beloved” and represents the sentiment in Jewish homes as the Sabbath Candles are lit. This Friday night ritual begins at sunset, represented by the vibrant colored clouds, upon which a couple joyously raises their hands to celebrate the arrival of the Shekinah, the Divine Presence.
