The Exhibit
Lynn Rae Lowe's Artistic Journey: 80 Years of Creativity and Storytelling is, at its heart, an answer to a question the artist has heard throughout her life: “How long did it take you to make that?” This exhibition is her response—a lifetime. Spanning from her earliest creations at age six to her most recent works, the show traces Lynn Rae’s path through education, family life, community engagement, global recognition, and an ever-evolving artistic practice. It brings together a remarkable range of media—sculpture, illuminated metal paintings, menorahs, pottery, jewelry, and furniture—each piece reflecting her enduring commitment to creating art that touches not only a person’s space, but their spirit.
At its core, this exhibition is a declaration of purpose. Lynn Rae embraces her identity as a “light bearer,” a truth reflected in the nearly 10,000 works of light-infused art she has created and shared with the world. In gathering these pieces, she has gained a deeper understanding of the influences that shaped her—especially the profound role of her mother—and the continuous thread of inspiration that fuels her work. This show is both a celebration and a dedication: to stand in one place and witness 80 years of imagination and storytelling, and to carry that light forward. Because for Lynn Rae, the journey is not complete—her work continues, with a singular focus on igniting the light of creativity in others.
The Artist

Lynn Rae Lowe is an internationally recognized artist and educator whose work spans more than five decades, culminating in Lynn Rae Lowe's Artistic Journey: 80 Years of Creativity and Storytelling. Living, as she describes, “between her left and right brain,” Lowe is a prolific sculptor and painter working in bronze, copper, steel, and aluminum. Her soaring, celebratory forms are marked by bold iconography and expressive symbolism, inviting viewers into deeply personal yet universally resonant journeys. Across every medium, her work reflects a lifelong exploration of creativity as both a discipline and a joyful act of discovery.
Central to Lowe’s artistic philosophy is the power of light—both literal and metaphorical—as a force that connects, uplifts, and transforms. Her work responds to a deeply held belief that, in an increasingly fragmented world, people seek images that remind them of their own truth, power, and possibility. Through vibrant compositions and sculptural storytelling, she creates spaces where the spirit is energized and the imagination awakened. Her art is not only meant to be seen, but to be felt—encouraging those who encounter it to embrace joy, connection, and a sense of shared humanity.
A passionate teacher and community advocate, Lowe has dedicated much of her life to helping others unlock their creative potential—especially those who do not initially see themselves as artists. Alongside her late husband, Buck Lowe, she co-founded the Rose Petal Foundation to foster creativity and community imagination, extending her artistic mission into philanthropy. Today, she continues to collaborate with patrons on public and private commissions that honor contribution, legacy, and human connection. Her enduring hope is that her work inspires others to greet each day with openness, a joyful spirit, and the confidence to shape a more meaningful and compassionate world.
