Genesis Day 2 Study - Separating the Waters

Here we have the waters separating from the void to the sphere. There is the establishment of “as above and below.” I wanted to show movement, and separation from the waters flowing down to a basin receiving them. That expanse began to be called sky. But initially it was the void. That is why the sky is still dark, contrasting with pure water, which is silver.  The water has given life as expressed by the vibrant, cool blues in the Sea and the movement of the water. It was here I decided to really concentrate on color as a way of connecting the individual with the feeling I was trying to evoke. ~ Lynn Rae
