The Sun Circle

During this year's Summer Solstice, 16 women came together at the Sun Circle to share in the energy and inspiration that arose as the sun set. Hosted by Lynn Rae Lowe, and featuring Chris Tanz, the evening was a celebration of summer as well as as the inauguration of the Rose Petal Foundation's new ArtSparks program.

The amazing group of women was honored to learn from Ms. Tanz, who is not only one of the designers of the Sun Circle, but whose public art pieces can be found all around Tucson. Ms. Tanz is an extraordinary artist and a lovely human being, and she was a perfect accompaniment to the energy of the Summer Solstice.

Lynn Rae & Buck first established the Rose Petal Educational Foundation to foster community creativity and imagination. The new ArtSparks series will bring together community builders and featured artists for evenings of self-discovery and community engagement coinciding with each changing season.
